Price rises to go to the temple, over a thousand from Kosovo

This year from Macedonia to holy sites will travel 662, from Albania around 470, from Kosovo 1.080, from Bosnia and Herzegovina 1.680, from Serbia 235, from Montenegro 60 and from Croatia 15 believers.

A total of 4,212 people from the seven Western Balkan countries will travel to Saudi Arabia to make the fifth condition of Islam, Haxhi, while stressing that rising prices for performing this obligation has caused the number of pilgrimages to drop in the region.

The first group from Albania is expected to leave on 7 August, Kosovo 9 August and Macedonia on 11 August. /AAA/
