Kosovo's “Albanians are intensifying exercises with Americans, under the appointment operation “The golden sword”, which in Serbian security circles is interpreted as the final stage of entry to the north of Kosovo and the rounding of state sovereignty”, Novosti claims.
According to their <x0informs”, US KFOR members are already preparing members of the Kosovo Security Forces for the next Kosovo Army for weeks. Training is under way in Bajgora for at least a hundred KSF members, who at certain intervals are changing, broadcast Insadeder.com.
Although US representatives in Kosovo publicly stress that transformation of the KSF into the Kosovo Army requires constitutional changes and the comprehensive dialogue of all communities in Kosovo, bringing American KFOR members to the ground speaks of these processes going far ahead. According to the “reliable information” of this newspaper, they, in addition to exercising KSF members, are also largely arming these forces, or the future Kosovo Army.
The KSF's “Commanda acquired 27 combat vehicles from Americans “Hummer” until 24 were received as a gift, the paper claims.
