Kelmendi has been released from custody and his case has turned into a retrial in the first degree for the part he was convicted of.
His lawyer Besnik Berisha, who has said Naser Kelmendi has been released from custody today, has confirmed the case.
Kelmendi was sentenced to six years in prison on February 1st of this year for drug distribution.
He has been found guilty of the indictment's 8th point, which says he acted in Bosnia and Herzegovina with three other men putting 25kg of heroin-type narcotics in circulation.
