Murati: No greater luck than redefining borders with Serbia

Movement for the Union Chairman Valon Murati through a Facebook post says it is pro-defining borders with Serbia, based on the will of the Albanian and Serbian people for self-rule. According to him, Kosovo's current borders are boundaries of colonialism and Serbian chauvinism.

The “have neither been in the function of the interests of the Albanian people. So it is surprising that there is a part of the zeal of people in Kosovo, public figures, politicians and journalists to appear as defenders of these borders. Personally, I am afraid that all this noise is being made so that, as the end, we have a half-a deal that would cement association or even any kind of autonomy of Serbs in Kosovo. This would be the worst possible solution from all variants, which will try to sell as a great victory for Kosovo and its territorial integrity”, Murati has written.

The head of the LB adds that there would be no greater fate than redefining the borders with Serbia.

Otherwise, there would be no greater luck, than as part of the final agreement with Serbia to see the redefining of the borders with Serbia, based on the will of the Albanian people for self-determination in Presevo, Bujanoc and Medvedja, as well as of the Serb in Leposaviq, Zvecan and Zubin Potok. This would constitute the central step for transforming Kosovo into a fully functional and normal state and would peacefully close the Albanian-Serbian conflict”, Murati has indicated.

He has added that, otherwise, the position against reciprocity's idea until the redefination of the border is the position in favour of association. And this association, along with the Serb clogging power of the Parliament, will tomorrow bring us separation. So it will enable the full realisation of Serbia's” goal.
