MPB: The situation in the north is stable, we're ready for everything

The situation in the north of the country has made local institutions more alert. Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Abdulselim Shkodra spent last night closely dealing with developments that had been warned could occur in the country's north. He says the situation remains calm. <x0)
“These things have circulated, but the country's institutions have taken seriously any information that has come from the northern part, but so far we have no kind of action that would conflict with legislation in force. So we can say that the situation is not variable but it's quite stable”, Shkodra said of public television.
Shkodra says security institutions have been willing to respond to any situation that might take place in the north. Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj had met with the Security Council, where he had indicated no actions would be allowed that undermine constitutional order.
“The things that were circulated cannot be said to have been serious, but the situation has not changed and continues to be the same”, Shkodra added.
During the day it was reported that KFOR forces have taken control of Uyman Lake, but KFOR officials have clarified that their troops' movements are taking place under the warned operational exercise. KFOR Commander Major General Salvatore Cuoci warned this exercise early in the week in Leposaviq. He acknowledged that KFOR members are doing exercises and exercises, but that they do not link to any events that might happen here.
Meanwhile, Joint Allied Forces Commander at Naples (JFCN), Admiral James Foggo, has declared in Leposaviq that KFOR is powerful and that it does not foresee any problems and changes of the situation in Kosovo, though according to him, has potential for unrest.
