Health authorities say they are making efforts to enrich the essential drug list.
Niteman Sinan, from the village of Slatine in Podujevo, has his wife at QKUK for 10 days now, reports public television.
He says he buys all his drugs even though he lives with social assistance and with the help of willing people.
Ismet Hasani also says he is obliged to buy all drugs for the sick boy, even syringes.
Director-General of the Clinical Hospital Service Basri Sejdiu says that along with the minister of health, he is trying to improve his drug supply.
While the director of the Gjakova Hospital, Ahmet Asllani, says compared to the first three months, there is an improvement in the supply of drugs and saving material.
The readiness of health institutions for drug supplies, however, is not on the level, so the sorrow of the sick and family remains present.
