Following the table for the rights of Albanians living in Presevo, Medvedja and Bujanoc, which the Vetevendosje Movement organised at the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo at the end of July, Chairman Albin Kurti, accompanied by Hyseni Hyseni, head of the General Council, and, Victory MEP Pacolli, hosted the mayor of the Bujanoc municipality, Shapi Kamberi, and his cabinet chief, Rahim Salihu.
Kurti briefed Camber about discussions the party's leadership had at its meeting yesterday about recent developments affecting the municipalities of Presevo, Medvedja and Bujanoc.
According to the media statement, Kurti considered the expression “correction of President Thaci's” border <x1.
This, according to him, means correction of the borders here and there of any small area with a village, zabel or hill, but not the involvement of an entire province such as the Presevo, Medvedja and Bujanoc, which should be treated as whole and not separate.
Kurti said that respecting the 1992 referendum is the only right solution, adding that Serbia must recognise Kosovo's independence and pay for the numerous damages of war and occupation.
