Police reportedly have taken revenge from Greek authorities citizen Saimir Gegoli, born in Berat.
In the distant year 9750 Gegoll along with two other armed men have stopped a car traveling from Berat to Skrapar. Gegoll ordered everyone to step down from the vehicle and lie to the ground, but one of the passengers opposed it.
In response, 37-year-old shot him in the head, leaving him dead.

Citizens Saimir Gegoll had been declared internationally in search, after the Vlora District Court, by ruling No. 154, the date 14,10,2010 has sentenced him to 9 years in prison for the criminal act “the murder”, predicted by articles 76 and 51 of the Criminal Code.
Event Summary:
On the date of 05.07.1997, about 1: 00 p.m. near the village of Uznova, Berat, this citizen, armed with gunguns, along with two other A.K. and the S.K., armed with automatic firearms, under gun threat stopped a car from Berat to Skrapar and forced all passengers to land on the ground.
One of the passengers has refused to comply, and Saimir Gegoll has shot a gun in the head, causing the citizens of N.M. to die.
Citizens Saimir Gegoll has been arrested by Greek police authorities with the aim of extradition to our country.
