Kosovo is committed to partner in politics, economy and security. So all of you confirm that we are ready for the transition of our strength, we are willing to participate in the Partnership for Peace. But not only in the peace partnership. We Aim to Join NATO and thereby also confirms that mission NATO and KFOR are respected by the people of Kosovo, and we will always be the factor and guarantor of peace”, Haradinaj said.
Haradinaj also said that from 1999 to today many girls and boys from respected states have served in Kosovo to stop the tragedy, but also to maintain peace.
We live in peace in Kosovo today. Kosovo is a peaceful state thanks to your service and I thank you all for serving in our country all the time and for you serving here today. We have learned how important it is to maintain peace and have pledged to remain peaceful and to live in peace with all those living in Kosovo, Serbs, Ashkali, Roma, Egyptian, Bosnian, Goran, but also with our neighbours. This is our pledge and I thank you for all that you have done for our peace”, he said.
Furthermore, Haradinaj said it is time for a absorption of security, Kosovo to become a contributing factor and stability for security.
“The KSF today is multiethnic, serving young boys and girls, Serbs and Kosovars. KSF is the force of all who live here. And not only that. Tomorrow the Armed Forces will be willing to serve all citizens of our state and thereby confirm our maturity and willingness to become partners. To me today is the day to thank you all for the work you have done for the security, stability and tranquillity here and to know that we are ready for partnership”, Haradinaj said.
