After meeting all conditions for liberalisation, the second step towards lifting the visa regime for Kosovo citizens was successfully closed. The European Parliament, respectively, approved today the mandate for opening negotiations with the European Commission for abolishing visas for Kosovo citizens”, Haradinaj wrote.
Kosovo has done great work, especially in empowering rule of law, so it is certain that the whole process will be successfully completed, enabling our citizens to move freely to EU countries. Grateful for the continued and great commitment of Eurodeputes and visa liberalisation rapporteur to the European Parliament, Tanja Fajon, and all other Eurodeputs who voted for free movement for Kosovars”, he wrote.
