Authorities in Kosovo have not confirmed whether such a document was delivered or not in Brussels.

Earlier, Avni Arifi, chief of the Kosovo Technical Team in dialogue with Serbia, has said that the management team, under an earlier agreement in Brussels, has a full privacy at work, and the Kosovo government has been deprived of access to more information.

On the other hand, Maja Kocijanciq, spokeswoman for EU foreign policy chief Federica Moghrini, has said of REL that “ekipi manager has had four months to draft the Association statute”.

According to the EU, at the time this team informs Brussels of the results of their work then this will be discussed at EU summits by Kosovo and Serbia's presidents.

A day earlier, Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj called for increasing the readiness of institutions, in case, as he said, any violations of the order and the law.

Kosovo Police Deputy Commander for the Mitrovica region Besim Hoti has said the security situation in northern Kosovo is calm with few citizen movements.

Kosovo's “Police are in charge of official and pre-lawed duties, but also under the operational order that has emerged from the Kosovo Police General Directorate. Since the early hours of the morning, no development of any size that would endanger, violate, or disrupt public order, or endanger, general security has not occurred. So we say it's a perfectly ordinary, quiet day without any development of any amount of security, said Hoti.

He also said that KFOR has warned of some exercises within their pre-emptive actions in recent days.

“Citizens have been pre-reported through various media and other communication circles that it is a development of KFOR's exercise and roads will be more closely charged with the presence of numerous KFOR cars and I believe that even citizens have such mobility of KFOR's machinery along the roads of both regional and local and northern Kosovo, so it is perfectly understandable, acceptable and peaceful, and there is no reason for distress <1x> said Hoti.

On the other hand, Kosovo President Hashim Thaci, through a communique for the media, has said Kosovo is committed to reaching a legally binding historical agreement, within the final phase of dialogue for normalising relations between Kosovo and Serbia.

The presidency communiqué reportedly “The Republic of Kosovo will be held to precise terms for maintaining calm and in no way risking targets for the full normalisation of relations between the two countries”.

In Serbia, the meeting of Serbia's National Security Council has been held, where it discussed Kosovo. After this meeting, Kosovo office director Marko Djuric has spoken to the media.

He has said Serbs in Kosovo will hear Vuciqi's appeal. Authorities responsible, army, police and intelligence services have taken over tasks related to “preventing operations of agencies”, said Marko Djuric, director of the Office for Kosovo in Serbia's Government.

Djuric said that “is a great shame that today in Serbia should be talked about the security of Serbs in Kosovo, and not the implementation of the agreement for the Association of Serb majority municipalities on the part of Pristina and the violation of guarantees provided by the international factor”.

Earlier, local media in Serbia and Kosovo have reported that KFOR forces have taken control of Uyman Lake, but KFOR officials have rejected those claims.

Officials said the presence of troops there is part of an exercise planned earlier, a KFOR media official told Radio Free Europe.

“KFOR has not taken control of anything. KFOR has held an exercise planned for two days. We have made a planned exercise all over Kosovo and not only in the north. This is done to test the capabilities and readiness of KFOR soldiers”, the NATO official has said.

Weiman's artificial lake in northern Kosovo is the largest in the country, but managed by Serbs.
