The research in which more than 34,000 adults from America have participated has shown that consumption of nuts can reduce the likelihood of getting sick by this type of diabetes every day.
While average consumption was 1.5 spoons a day, study participants who have consumed three tablespoons of nuts each day have had less risk of 47 percent of developing Type 2.
“The powerful link that we see in this study between nut consumers and reducing risk for showing type 2 diabetes is also an additional reason why we should include nuts in food”, explains the doctor and author of the Lenor Arabar study.
