Finance Minister Guarantees Investors, Erdogan Lookes to Europe

According to the news agency “Anadolu”, addressing investors from Europe, the Middle East and the United States, Treasury and Finance Minister Berat Albayrak said that Turkey recognises the challenges it faces and will emerge even stronger from them”.
According to him, a consolidation fiscal policy, implementation of structural reforms and lowering inflation were the country's top priorities.
Albayrak made similar statements earlier this week, when he presented an action plan for supporting the country's economy.
President Erdogan already contacted French counterpart Emmanuel Macron today, a day after talks similar to German Chancellor Angela Merkel, while securing the promise of a significant investment from Qatar.
According to a communique of his office, Macron emphasised strong economic and trade relations between the European Union and Turkey, while confirming his commitment to a stable and developed Turkey.
Erdogan and Macron agreed on a meeting of the two countries' financial chiefs.
