79 accidents per 24 hours, four fatality

The number of traffic accidents has seen significant increases recently. During the last 24 hours alone, there have been four fatally affected accidents in which six people have lost their lives. Police today have detailed all accidents occurring during yesterday. According to them, there were 79 traffic accidents yesterday, of which four with fatality, 23 with injured persons and 52 others with material damage.

Two of the fatal accidents occurred in Pristina. One on “Qemal Stafa” where one driver lost his life while the other accident took place on the Trud-Vecernik Highway, where by the impact of three cars, two drivers lost their lives.

Two victims were also involved in the Museum of Suhareka accident, and a woman died in Krishec, Pec.

Kosovo police, taking into account the alarming situation in traffic, have formed a “Task Force” for preventing accidents, but what is seen at this time is only increasing the number of fines.

Thus, during the last 24 hours alone, police have punished 1172 people for breaking the rules in communications.
