President Hashim Thaci until recently refused to discuss the idea of mending the border with Serbia, so far he has an empty subject in any public statement. The president's idea of restructuring the border with Serbia does not enjoy support even within coalition partners.
No further than four months ago, Thaci did not even agree to go into detail about the idea of restructuring the border with Serbia, writes today Koha Ditore.
“I have said several times that it is an option that carries along many risks, which we all know, so I don't want to go into any detail”, had already stressed Thaci at the conference held on April 5th, where the scenarios of the big “Finales were presented in the dialogue with Serbia based on the analysis of the European Affairs and Development Research Institute <x0, and the Group for Expulation of Politics in the Balkans <1x>
Thaci had also insisted on representatives of the Valley that Kosovo has made all compromises painful so far through President Martti Ahtisaari's comprehensive Plan.
The idea of exchange of territories at the same conference was rejected by representatives of the Presevo Valley.
