The prostitution of Albanian girls has been brought back to the attention of Italian media, due to quarantiners' operations.
It is learned that yesterday in some areas in Piacenza dozens of young girls have been caught after an aprostitution checks. Italian police have identified 24 foreign women between 20 and 48 years of age, all with regular letters of residence in Italy, among them seven Albanians.
During 2015, 1038 cases were recorded, during 2016 1227 cases, 1269 cases were recorded, and 628 cases were recorded during 2017.
The number of gender victims: in 2015: 869 females and 202 males, in 2016: 988 females and 259 males, in 2017: 958 females and 261 males, in January-June 2018: 500 females and 115 males.
The cases of domestic violence are handled on the basis of procedures and the same procedures are prosecuted in the organs of justice. Each such case, as it is handled, with the decision of competent prosecutors, the random suspects are sent or not, depending on the case at the Preservation Centre.
