Wessel has proposed that the first meeting be held tomorrow at 10:00 in the Kosovo Assembly. “The Kosovo political show, all together, position and opposition, should be consolidated and prepared. The Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo will have the key role of oversight and decision-making in this important process”, said at the prime minister's invitation.
But only ruling coalition parties and not opposition parties will attend this meeting.
Vetevendosje MP Albulen Haxhiu has said Wessel's invitation is meaningless, since tomorrow is also the plenary hearing where parliamentary debate on the dialogue process with Serbia will be held.
I don't think we're going to participate. We will have the parliamentary group meeting where this invitation will be discussed, but we consider it unnecessary to participate, with the fact that it is already the Parliament that will have a debate on dialogue”, Haxhiu has indicated.
Even LDK deputy Lumir Abdixhiku has said this meeting called is just improvised and that the LDK will not go.
