Wessel lobbies for visas in Holland

The president of the Republic of Kosovo, Kadri Veseli, has been hosted today at a special meeting by Dutch Senate President Ankie Broekers-Knol, with which she has discussed political developments in Kosovo and the region, for European and specifically, for the support of the Netherlands in the process of visa liberalisation [...]
At a meeting with counterpart in the Netherlands, Chief Parliamentary Veselin has presented Kosovo's achievements, while having prompted Halanda to take a positive stance in relation to Kosovo for visa liberalisation, as he said, Kosovo has met all necessary criteria.
Chief Parliamentary Veselin said Kosovo citizens deserve free movement in the Schengen Zone and will not violate the obligations that come out of free movement. Thanking the Dutch counterpart for her state's support of Kosovo consistently, the Speaker of the Parliament acknowledged her with advances in Kosovo in many areas and its institutions' commitments for reforms that particularly stimulate economic development.
My effort is now very clear. Kosovo citizens deserve visa liberalisation. After we have met all the established criteria, we want our citizens to be able to move freely to the Schengen Zone by the end of this year. Visits to EU countries, like this current one in the Netherlands, have to do with our efforts to convince these countries' highest state institutions to exercise their positive influence on visa liberalisation. The Netherlands is one of the main supporters of our country, which has recognised independence from the beginning and is now a permanent investor in statehood and progress in Kosovo”, said Chief Parliamentary Veselin.
Dutch head-in-chief Ankie Broekers-Knol said that in the Netherlands Senate Kosovo enjoys support from all its compositions, while confirming support for the Kosovo European integration process. The negotiators agreed on the possibilities of deepening interparliamentary, economic and diplomatic relations with the two countries' interests.
