In the final phase of dialogue with Serbia, the Presevo Valley is also seeking involvement. They have even warned of Saturday an extraordinary session of three Albanian majority municipalities.
Warnings of reaching a final solution between Kosovo and Serbia, as well as the poor status of Albanians in the Presevo Valley have influenced Albanian Democratic Party Chairman Ragmi Mustafa to propose holding an extraordinary session of the Albanian Councils of three municipalities of the Albanian Valley.
In this session according to Mustafa, the inclusion of Presevo, Bujanoc and Medvedja will be required in the final dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia in Brussels.
“In this session of three Albanian councilors' seats will be mandated the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo, in the name of Albanians in the Presevo Valley, to deal with their political status in this concluding dialogue between Pristina and official Belgrade”, Mustafa told RTK.
Mustafa has said that so far two consultative meetings have been held with representatives of all Albanian parties.
The Assembly of Albanian Assemblyers of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja, even though there is no informal institutional character, represents a political unity institution of Albanians in the Valley.
The extraordinary session according to warnings is expected to be held Saturday in Bujanoc, while decisions made will be sent to all relevan factors in the region and international ones.
