The administrative workers, since July 4th, have entered the general strike, where among their main demands, is the increase in wages for 100%.

The call for the strike's break, Minister Tahiri and the KDR leader, have been making it during a meeting, which have held Tuesday's afternoon with representatives of the strike council.

At this meeting, the head of the Constitutional Court in Pristina, Venus Bytyci, has also attended.

After the meeting, in a proposal for “Justice Trust”, Minister Tahiri has said he expects strikers to stop the strike, adding that a solution for their demands will soon be found.

“I believe that we will soon reach a solution to this situation, their demands are legitimate, but I believe we are on a right track to address these requirements and I believe that my request will be in agreement and that in the next two weeks will all be addressed in this”, Tahiri said.

According to Minister Tahiri, the Law for Salaries will be the best address to make solutions for the strikers' demands.

“The Ministry of Justice does not have the magic wand to find this solution, normally that the Government of the Republic of Kosovo should give direction, but normally that I, as justice minister, address and address it, and I will take care of it, now we have the Law for the Salaries that in the next two weeks will be approved in the Government of the Republic of Kosovo, and there is no better address than to address this in the Law on the Pagan”, said the minister Tahiri.

And the KDR leader, Nehat Idrizi, has said he has asked strikers to be suspended in order to handle their demands.

I, as leader of the KRC, have talked to the US Council, but also with the administration staff of the Constitutional Court, Appeal and Supreme Court and asked them to temporarily suspend the strike of intent to give us time to deal with their demands. We again, together with Minister Abelard Tahiri, have met with the strike council and with all the administration staff of this court, and we are in ongoing talks on a mutually acceptable solution to the exit of this”, Idriz said.

Pristina Foundation Court strike council chief Naim Shala said after the meeting that the minister, except for the Law on Salaries, was unwilling to offer any solution that would affect the strike's interruption.

But, despite the demands of minister Tahiri, chairman Idrizi, as well as the head of the Constitutional Court in Pristina, Aferdita Bytyci, for suspending the strike, Shala has said that such a thing will not happen and that their strike will continue.

“Of course we refused and of course decided that as the strike board, the strike that began on July 4th would continue. I also informed the Ministry and the media, I have always declared the number of sessions that have been lost, and this is a great loss for citizens even the state of Kosovo. Let's see, to this day who's going to do this, a little bit more seriously to see what's going on, Shala said.

Court administration workers and prosecutors workers in the country, since 4 July, have staged a general strike, where among their main demands is the increase of wages for 100 % for this category and the regulation of their status.
