The newly acquired evidence includes satellite photos taken over the past few weeks, indicate that work is taking place in at least one to two factories that are producing ballistic missiles in Sanumdong, located on the outskirts of Phenan, according to officials who spoke on condition of anonymity to describe classified research.
Recent findings show the internal activity of North Korea on the production of nuclear equipment, despite the two respective leaders' earlier agreed to completely disrupt tests and manufacture of nuclear weapons from the North Korean state.
Reports about the construction of new missiles come after recent discoveries about an object suspected of enriching uranium called Kangson, the Washington Post” reported, broadcast Periscopi.
US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, however, did not give a statement about the new production of nuclear weapons from North Korea.
The Sanumdong factory has produced two ballistic missiles, including the powerful Hwasong-15, the first that could seriously jeopardise the US.
