President Hashim Thaci has held a media conference where he has talked about various issues, particularly the topic of dialogue with Serbia. He has said once again that this process will be completed with mutual recognition between Kosovo and Serbia.
Kosovo in the closing phase of the doalog estimates that normalisation of relations will become mutually recognised as two independent and sovereign states, meaning UN organisation. I am fully confident that Kosovo citizens are the most educated in this process, because they are highly educated, they have invested a lot. For all citizens of the country, it is known that asylum demand is unstable and that no one has any such claim”, Thaci said, broadcast Periscopi.
“Kosovo is a free country that respects human rights, but Kosovo's citizen will exploit the right that belongs to all citizens of the Western Balkans”, he said.
“Debates that develop within the country's institutions, I appreciate that the Parliament, the Presidency, the Government will make the joint journey to accelerate the commitment of Kosovo being part of all international institutions. Including the near future of the dialogue remains 4 to six months. So I have always demanded that the Kosovo Assembly also be directly involved in dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia”, he has said.
Thaci has invited political parties to join in dialogue with Serbia.
I'm looking for parliamentary parties from the Assembly to assume their constitutional and legal responsibilities. I'm sorry they're late because time is running out. Who is preventing the Parliament from exercising the role it belongs to”, he said. /Periscope.
