The director of the so-called Office for Kosovo, Marko Djurovic, has declared this round of dialogue to be one of the most difficult until then.
According to him, the Kosovo issue is also related to the issue of economic progress.
If there is no agreement, things won't be the way they are. Three, four or five years to come, we may not have security for the country and the region. There will be no peace. We can't be responsible for making sure our kids don't die. That is why in this kind of agreement it is important to know that there is always a difficult situation and that we cannot continue with the economic recovery, if there is no solution”, Djuric said.
Relations with the European Union and jobs will also depend on it.
And this may be a political solution of citizens, legitimate but aware of the consequences”, he added.
Djuric also said that neither the president nor the government can think of accepting something that will not satisfy the interests of Serbia and Serbs in Kosovo.
“President Vuciq will not accept recognition, we have almost 18 years from when there is no effective control, from more banal to more important things. Who killed Oliver Ivanov? For Serbia's interests we fight not only in Brussels but also in conversations with others -- Americans, French President Emmanuel Macron in Paris, where we received support for reaching a compromise. We will always try to gain support for our” position, Djuric has finished. /Indesksonline/
