Prosecutor Seeks Sefqet Krasniqi Retrial

The prosecution's body has turned to the second instance with complaints against the Constitutional Court's decision, which in March of this year has acquitted Krasniqi of all charges. Based on the complaint, which is owned by “Koha Ditore”, the prosecution is demanding that the whole case be turned into retrial.

The request has, according to her, supported in substantial violation of legal procedure provisions, violation of criminal law, as well as in the fallible and incomplete proof of the actual situation.

However, with these claims, Krasniqi's defence is not being reconciled. She too has responded to the Prosecution at the Appeals, considering that his release has been fair and that any other prosecution claim is unfounded.
