Although few women commit crimes and suffer sentences at the Lipjan Correcting Centre, small is the number of women who earn the privilege of being released on bail or be pardoned by the country's president.

The age of convicted women found in this centre starts from 17 to 53 years old.
Kosovo Corresponding Service spokesman Jeton Kabashi claims that at the correcting Centre in Lipjan there are a total of 39 women who serve sentences for various works. According to him, among them is a convicted minor woman and another with institutional corrective educational measure.
