Marquez recently participated in the World Championship “Russia 2018”. Where he and the National of Mexico succeeded in qualifying until the elimination/drek phase.
The defender, who has often played midfielder, began his career at the Atlas Club, where he made about 77 presentations. He then moved to Monaco, where he became known as a professional football player.
In 2003, the Mexican moved to Barcelona, where he made 180 presentations and scored 7 goals.
From Barca he left in 2010, to continue with clubs such as New York Red Bulls, Leon, Hellas Verona and finally Atlas.
Marquez, through a social networking post, has thanked all clubs, trainers and the National of Mexico for its professional career.
We remember that Marquez has won four La Ligas titles and two Champions League titles.
