The opposition has countered with the initiative for extraordinary parliamentary session determining institutions to establish the negotiating team for the final phase of dialogue with Serbia. The session is scheduled to be held on 16 July, two days before the second meeting is organised under the final process of this dialogue.
It is the Social Democrat Party parliamentary group (PSD) that has started collecting signatures Thursday for holding a session regarding this phase of dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.
The “given the political impact this dialogue has and the eventual agreement coming out of it will have in the process of statehood, development, democracy in the Republic of Kosovo. Through this extraordinary session the signatory deputies will demand that discussion and decision-making be returned to the Parliament, the highest legislative body”, has announced Visar Ymer, one of the PSD deputies.
It has done so on the day when <x0 Ditore” has reported that the negotiating team has already been functional and which is led by the president, and that part of it is the prime minister, prime minister and leaders of the ruling coalition's parliamentary parties.
