Two MPs joined

The Social Democrat Initiative has signed co-operation agreements with Egypt's Liberal Party Chairman Veton Berisha and Ashkali Party for Integration Chairman Etem Arifi.

By this agreement, MPs Veton Berisha and Etem Arifi agree to join and act within the Parliamentary Group of the Social Democrat Initiative.

Therefore, the number of Parliamentary Initiative Group from six increases to eight.

After signing this agreement, Social Democrat Initiative Chairman Fatmir Limaj has congratulated MPs Berisha and Etemi welcome to the Parliamentary Group of the Initiative.

On the other hand, MPs Berisha and Arifi have expressed satisfaction with reaching this agreement.

“We have highly welcomed this agreement because we are uniting forces within the Parliamentary Initiative Group on the condition that together push the processes forward. Our community has waited very well for the fact that the Initiative is a Social Democrat party and we have many common issues”, MP Berisha has said after signing the agreement.

Following the signing of the agreement, MPs Berisha and Arifi have been hosted at the premises of the Parliamentary Initiative Group by the chief of this Parliamentary Group, Bilall the Sheriff and other deputies of the Initiative.

The sheriff, among other things, pledged that the Parliamentary Initiative Group would give all necessary space to MPs Berisha and Arifi in the Parliamentary Assembly and Commissions.
