Millions' deal undermines power and opposition

The ruling coalition has failed to secure the 80 votes needed for ratification of the IPA Agreement with the European Union, from which Kosovo benefits millions of euros, because the Democratic League of Kosovo and the Vetevendosje Movement continue not to vote on bills presented in the Assembly as they demand the collapse of the government “Haradinaj”. Disagreement of this agreement has slammed Parliament Speaker Kadri Veselin and Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj with opposition representatives, even in the opposition.

Responding to Kosovo's chief parliament, Veselin, who mentioned the millions lost to the failure of the IPA, Democratic League of Kosovo MP Lumir Abdixhiku said he is mentioning the millions lost by the coalition, such as 53m euros for “Bechtel Enken”, 11m euros given to Serbs in the north, “36m euros to cover the loss of party militants in PTK and 80m euros for the lights of war veterans<3m>.
