LDK has not yet set date for final table of political parties

The chief of the Parliamentary Group of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Avdullah Hoti, in a pronomination for Telegrafi, has talked about the table of political parties, which will be organised by the LDK.

Hoti said the final table of political parties will soon be called by the LDK to conclude consultations with political forces in the country, but has not mentioned the date.

He stressed that the goal of this table has been and it remains to agree on the political spectrum in Kosovo to get the country out of the institutional crisis, which, according to him, has deepened in recent months.

Hoti also said the minority government is insisting on staying in power even though it has no political power to govern.

And that, according to him, is damaging the democratic system in the country.

These tables are initiated by the LDK and closed by the LDK. The purpose of the table has been and the agreement of the political spectrum in Kosovo remains to bring the country out of the institutional crisis, which has deepened in recent months. The minority government appears to be insisting on staying in power despite having no political power to govern. This governance mentality is damaging the democratic system in the country, making each day worse the country's fiscal sustainability through harmful decisions for motivated spending on the basis of individual interest, and delaying reforms needed for European integration”, Hoti has said.

Meanwhile, political party tables were originally called by LDK, then PDK, Vetevendosje and PSD.

Otherwise, such tables are organised with the aim of reaching national consensus on major topics such as dialogue with Serbia, transforming the KSF into the Kosovo Army, as well as the Association of Serbian municipalities.

But analysts and civil society have deemed these tables ineffective, time buying, and not very productive.
