But, two years after the coup that Turkey experienced, Kurti himself became part of the ceremony organised on Saturday evening by this state's embassy in Kosovo.
For this change of pace of Kurti, in Vetevendosje they have said they have joined the event, as the invitation has been from the embassy and it is not the Turkish government, but the state that is nevertheless led by Erdogan, whom Kurti called the autism.
Most ambassadors operating in Kosovo have participated in this organisation. We consider that we should maintain the reports with the state of Turkey. Turkey is a NATO member and has recognised our independence among the first. The embassy is not of the Turkish government, but of the Turkish state. The LVV, which has social-democrat orientation, may not agree with many policies of many state governments that have recognised us, but we believe that the state is more than the government and beyond.
In addition to Kurti, former presidents, Atifete Jahjaga and Fatmir Sejdiu were participating.
Timetime has tried to get an answer from them as well, but they have not responded to television calls.
July 15th was also marked in Pristina by Turkish government organisation KIKA.
Numerous citizens from the Turkish community participated after traveling from other cities.
Turkish Ambassador Kivilisation Kilicc has said that the support of Kosovo institutions has increased after the coup.
“Even before the coup, but especially after that, we have found great support from Kosovo institutions and their solidification has given us a force and with that force we are deepening our co-operation and relations”, Kilic has said.
The ambassador has indicated that the American ambassador to Kosovo, Greg Delaway, as well as the German, Italian and Hungarian, were in the organisation.
On July 15th 2016, Turkey experienced military-initiated coups, and Erdogan blamed the US resident cleric Fetullah Gulen.
250 people were killed that day, and thousands were injured. In the past two years, tens of thousands of people have been imprisoned on charges of helping the public, and Turkey still operates in emergency situations.
