Speaker of Movement V ALBANY, Albin Kurti, and Foreign Relations Secretary Boicen Ahaz are hosted today at the Italian Embassy by Ambassador Piero Cristoforo Sardi, and media official Arjeta Halitaj.
This meeting discussed recent political developments in Kosovo and Italy, as well as EU policies for Kosovo and the region. Among other things, Mayor Kurti also expressed V Movement stances SEEVED! Regarding the dialogue process, stressing the need for a report and assessment over the 33 agreements reached to date with Serbia, since, as he said, “there can be no democracy without accountability, and there cannot be accounts without reports”.
He further explained the need for a platform of clear principles and objectives for Kosovo, which could be drawn through developing an internal dialogue with different social, economic and political actors in Kosovo. Moreover, the fact that dialogue with Serbia cannot be allowed to be led by a person delegateed as President Hashim Thaci, who has exploited dialogue for personal interests at the expense of Kosovo, was stressed.
