So said Professor of the Faculty of Political Sciences in Belgrade Dragan Djukanovic under a proposal for the Serbian news agency BETA.
He said the dissolution of the ruling coalition in Germany “somehow slowed the very important moment the process has now taken”.
The “would be very bad in the dynamics of the ongoing process in the region, mainly in the process of normalising relations between Belgrade and Pristina, in which the German government has a very constructive role”, he said.
The survival of the German coalition government has been marred by policies against migrants, on the issue between Chancellor Angela Merkel's CDU and Interior Minister Horst Zehofer's CSU respectively.
