Following the oath at Turkey's Parliament, Erdogan attended the inauguration ceremony at the presidential residence in Ankara, attended by presidents and prime ministers of many countries, including from the region, AA reports.

The Turkish president said the new presidential system of governance is not obligation, but the shooting preference that history has directed.
“With the presidential system of governance we are moving into a new model of governance beyond the experiments we have experienced during our nearly 150-year bid for democracy and our 95-year-old republic, Erdogan said, and announced that the first cabinet under the new presidential system will meet on Friday.
Attending the inauguration ceremony were Kosovo President Hashim Thaci and Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama.
