Three Constitutional Judges Selected

Kosovo Parliament Speaker Kadri Veselini has congratulated the new members of the Constitutional Court, who are today elected by the Parliament.

He has written on his Facebook page that Kosovo has witnessed the most positive example -- in the region and beyond -- of functioning constitutional justice.

Today the Kosovo Assembly selected new members of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kosovo. Although the new state, Kosovo has witnessed the most positive example -- in the region and beyond -- of functioning constitutional justice. We welcome the newly elected judges to good and effective work in continuing the good tradition the Constitutional Court has created, but we also advance the standards required by it. This takes particular importance, from the fact that, from today, the Constitutional Court of Kosovo is a fully Kosovarised institution, since there will no longer be international members in its composition. )
