Often, though, those who engage in road transport face long columns and ambushes on borders.
The expectations are even long today at the border crossing point with Serbia in Merdara.
According to the National Centre for Border Management announcement to enter Kosovo from the border crossing point in Merdare, citizens must wait between 2 and 2 hours.
As it comes out of Kosovo at this crossing point, it only takes 5 to 10 minutes.
Cars waiting to enter Kosovo have access to the White Law, while there are no crossings at other border points.
