Manchester City tops the list of clubs that have spent the most in merkato in the last six years with over 1 billion euros spent -- the figure passed by the Algerian Riyad Mahres purchase a few months ago.

With 860m euros, Manchester United is placed 2nd place followed by Barcelona, Juventu and PCG. It may sound strange, but Madrid's Realty, even though it has won 4 times Champions in recent years, is positioned in 9th place of this special standing with only 546m euros spent leaving Inter behind.
