Budget not revised this year

The Kosovo Government's decision on this year's budget failure is being deemed wrong action by Kosovo Communist Association leaders and experts on economic issues. Government officials have confirmed there will be no budget revision, since, reportedly, “budget is well planned, as there is no need [...]
The budget is prepared in line with the plan and in line with the governing vision. Priorities and development objectives are oriented based on strategic documents”, said Free Europe Radio Muharrem Shahini, spokesman at the Ministry of Finance.
But this move by the Government that Kosovo will specifically harm local-level capital projects, say leaders of the Kosovo Communist Association, who have submitted a request to the finance ministry to become a budget review. Kosovo Communist Association Executive Director Saban Ibrahimi tells Radio Free Europe that they have not yet received any official response from the Government of Kosovo.
He considers budget review necessary and necessary, as he says, better management and realisation of capital projects. Due to budget failure, Ibrahim doubts that in the last quarter of this year, the Government of Kosovo will receive grants worth millions of municipalities and will destination them at the central level.
