Macedonian Prime Minister Zoran Zaev asked President George Ivanov again today to sign the Law for Language and enable functioning without obstacles to democracy in Macedonian society.
” In some meetings with Ivanov I have tried to motivate and encourage him to sign this law, as parliament is trapped in its” post, Zaev stressed.
This is not a functioning democracy. The responsibility is too big”, he added.
He stressed that competent institutions should be invited as the Constitutional Court, but also the Venice Commission.
The Constitutional Court shows what is constitutional and what is not. And if there is something problematic, it can be changed”, Zaev said. /MIA/
