In a word before them, Chief Parliamentary Veselin said Ramadan is the month that symbolizes the most universal values of human morality. He said that through fasting, we are closer to God and closer to each other as we testify that spiritual strength is greater than material interests.
“Trust is the spiritual force that beats thirst and hunger. It is the force that overcomes the obstacles and despair that often bring life's challenges. It is the hope for the future, which makes people and people stable in the face of the challenges of history”, Wessel stressed.
He added that our people are familiar with the strength of faith. Wessel said that believing in freedom made it.
We believed in the state and today we have the independent and sovereign state. We believe in our Euro-Atlantic future and we will achieve it. Together, both communities and religious communities are committed to the country and its future”, the Speaker of the Assembly said.
Wessel said that the Islamic Community of Kosovo has historically been an institution to serve the country's homeland and nation, and that is true today.
In addition, the Kosovo Assembly Speaker reminded the ladies who at times and under different circumstances contributed to and gave their lives for the freedom of our nation, from Haxhi Zeka, Hoxhe Kadri Pristina, Mulla Idriz Gjilani, Mulla Ilaz Broja, to the 37 hords who killed the Kosovo Liberation Army.
“We will never forget their sacrifice, and starting with this, we will work endlessly to make our freedom, our state and the future of Kosovo's children on this land blessed by God”, Chief Prime Minister Veseli stressed.
