VV says Shpend Ahmeti has changed words in terms of bid for co-government

The Vetevendosje movement is calling it unserious and insincere the bid Shpend Ahmeti has made for co-government in Pristina. Arben Vitita from this movement has said Ahmeti's offer, envisioning the grant of four directors for Vetevendosje, is very low. Because he indicated that at the beginning of May, [...]
It's a little weird the offer he made us, because at the meeting we had in early May, President Shpend Ahmeti offered us five directors and said the sixth director would be discussed later. Recent events at the municipal assembly have only been used as a pretext for lowering the offer, in order to show that it seems that he is not interested in co-operating with Vetevendosje Movement. This is a non-serious offer, because it is known that Shpend Ahmeti could not have won without being a member of Vetevendosje and without the help of members and activists of the Vetevendosje Movement.
Vitita added that the decision to accept or reject this offer would be made in the leadership of the Vetevendosje Movement.
“We as the negotiating group that we were from the Vetevendosje Movement, I, Besnik Bislimi, Nora Kelmendi and Yll Rugova, have had the mandate to negotiate and this offer that Shpend sent us to the email yesterday, we will send him to the leadership of the Vetevendosje Movement, and the decision will be made whether or not he will be accepted”, Arben Vitita said.
For the municipal health director, if the VV leads with only four directors, the programme of this party -- which had been the winner in the recent local elections -- held in November last year -- is in danger.
The “with these four directors who have been proposed to Vetevendosje are not the competition to be implemented the Vetevendosje Movement programme”, Vitia said.
He expresses distrust of current President Shpend Ahmeti, in that he is constantly declaring he will fully implement Vetevendosje's programme, with which Ahmeti was declared the winner of the race for the capital.
These statements are statements. Earlier there have been statements that no political party will be joined, and will remain only Pristina chairman, but that has not happened. So that gives us as argument that we cannot be based on statements, we demand that this program be implemented”, Vitita said.
He says it is early to note whether the VV programme is being practiced in Pristina.
It's only four-five months since we started work. We cannot yet give recognition as to whether the Vetevendosje Movement programme is being implemented. But one thing is already clear, that in this mandate, there is no unity that Pristina government had in its first term”, Vitita has said.
In the event of reaching agreement between the PSD and the VV for co-governance, then the division of directors in the Pristina municipality will be the following: ” PSD 3 Director, AKR 3 Director, AAK 3 Director, LB 1 director, Alternative 1 director and VV 4 director<18x1>.
Ahmeti in the VV bid for co-governance in Pristina, the division of directors has considered the distribution fair, where the VV has the largest number of directors.
Shpend Ahmeti, leads with Pristina for two consecutive mandates. Both of these victories in Pristina, Ahmeti had made them the candidate of the Vetevendosje Movement.
However, Shpend Ahmeti was one of many resigned from Albin Kurti's party. Ahmeti, after leaving Vetevendosje, has been elected president of the Social Democrat Party, and members of this party have become almost all those who left Vetevendosje.
