President Hashim Thaci on World Children's Day has said more must be done to ensure them a better environment.
Thaci has also said this day aims to increase the degree of awareness against violence against children.
The “parents, society, and institutions today have great attention to children who celebrate their International Day. This particular day aims to raise the degree of awareness against violence and child abuse, promoting their well-being and rights. Child investment is investment in the future. Children make our lives better every day, so we have to do more to ensure a better environment for them”, Thaci wrote.
June 1 is back not only on a festive day but also on a day of sensationalization, to say no to violence and child abuse.
