This initiative has been undertaken by former Komnamblist of the Crenasis Municipal Assembly, Xhavit Drnor, who has resigned from this position, while his successor on the basis of votes won in local elections has not yet sat in the Asmblist chair, because the CEC is dysfunctional.
Thus, the civic initiative “Vision for Drenas”, subject to Drnor, which has three seats secured in the Drensian Assembly, has remained without a representative for nearly three months.
The CEC's deadlock and possible violations on Thaci's part, Drnor has addressed them to the Ombudsman's institution, which he has urged to initiate the case in the Constitutional Court.
