Serbian media: Second disaster for Kosovo- Serbia

There is a chance that Kosovo-Serbia problems will be resolved by organising an international conference, writes the Serbian newspaper Danas today calling to its diplomatic sources.

As this newspaper, known by Serbia, Pristina and Belgrade, reports, will negotiate the solution of problems alongside the world's <x0-second major players”.

America, Britain, France, Italy, were to attend such a meeting. Not excluding either Russia, China and Turkey.

Even according to these sources, such a conference would be a second “Rambouage”.

The high-level international conference that would actually be represented as a second Rambouillet could be held in a Western state with neutral attitude like Switzerland. The major world powers are expected to discuss ways to normalise full reports between Belgrade and Pristina, and here we could compare the situation to negotiations in Rambouillet. Even though Serbia's government prefers this to be some sort of Dayton accord, after such an agreement came out of Republika Srpska in Bosnia. Vuciqi himself, however, prefers that the solution be reached in a broader format than at the Brussels office”, Danas' diplomatic sources have said.

In addition, the Serbian newspaper writes that Germany has great dissatisfaction so far for the dynamic dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina.

The “German has numerous remarks on the work of Moghrin and Johannes Hahn in dialogue with Serbia”, the sources explain.

“According to our well-formed conversationaries in Berlin have yet to give any idea of sending the special, which would be responsible for the form of dialogue. The election would be in a former German official respected in Berlin, Brussels, Washington and Moscow”, the paper writes.

As a rationale for a second “Rambouage” reportedly was the last meeting the media wrote about was held in New York, from the locations of Quinn.

“Skas for the idea of a Rambouillet-like conference has been the last meeting in New York. Apparently the key to resolving problems with Kosovo is in the hands of Americans”, these sources are cited.

It even stresses that America has eased its stance on the division of Kosovo. Which, according to the Serbian media, Germany is fundamentally against.

“Unlike the Germans who still think partitioning Kosovo is unacceptable, but believe Kosovo should be given a seat in the UN. Americans believe that, the solution for Serbia to take northern Kosovo and all Masastret is not unacceptable”, says further, broadcasts news.net.

As Danas learns, the Germans continue to stress that Kosovo's possible division would be “opened the Pandora box in the Balkans”.

The “changed from previous phases to negotiations with Kosovo, where Germany was expected to have a decisive role, now all eyes of the world are in America. In this context it is clear that EU countries are trying to discredit dialogue in Brussels to pave the way for organising a major international conference on Kosovo”, writes the popular newspaper in Serbia, Danas.

But as the article puts it, “punishment” at the Rambouillet Conference has been that Belgrade and Pristina delegations had not met directly, but the messages were transmitted by Americans.

“The negotiations ultimately failed because the military agreement was rejected and Serbia was bombed. So to avoid such mistakes, neither side is under pressure this time. So Belgrade would not be attacked by saying it would be blocked on the road to the EU, and this meeting would be good to be held not only for Kosovo, but for the entire Western Balkans”, diplomatic sources stress.

In fact, Serbian media daily have such reports reporting on possible Kosovo-Serbia solutions.

Days ago they wrote that the Netherlands, America and France are wanting to be part of the EU, but which was denied by international officials.

The high-level dialogue is expected to continue late June. This was confirmed by Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq as well.

Otherwise, President Thaci, days ago, has warned that painful compromises will be in settlement with Serbia.
