Local producers for the sale of an ethic liquor license have been charged with a five-euro excise -- much that, according to them, is unaffordable, writes Today Koha Ditore.
Hazbije Aliu from the company “Dubora&Learry” has told the paper that he has been opening the plant for the production of etical alcohol, but that he is not able to operate because of the excise burden. For opening this business she was forced to take credit, which she is unable to cover.
According to her, after all these documents they have encountered obstacles.
On March 24, 2015, the government in charge of Isa Mustaf had decided to free itself of excise alcohol duties for medical use. This decision tasked the Ministry of Finance and Kosovo Customs with implementation.
But in the Ministry of Finance, the paper has told us that to be released from the excise, an administrative guide is needed by the Ministry of Health and Spatial Environment and Planning to establish conditions and criteria to gain this legal right.
