Even today during the day Meta said Hilmi Haradinaj was a husband of the homeland and who gave much for Kosovo.
“With great sorrow, I learned the news of the life separation of Hilmi Haradinaj, this great patriot of Kosovo's liberation war, the father of two KLA heroes, The Lion and Shkelzen, who gave their lives for the freedom of Kosovo, who turned his family's home into the invincible fortress of resistance and the struggle for national freedom. He was a man of tradition, hospitality, and unity.
I have had great fortune to get to know him closely and to feel the generous hospitality of this great man.
Deep condolences to the Haradinaj family, his countless relatives and friends. May his soul rest in peace.
Hilmi Haradinaj passed away last night.
