Following the first unofficially announced results of presidential and parliamentary elections held in Turkey, city citizens from Macedonia, Kosovo and Albania have taken to the streets to celebrate Turkish President Recep Tayip Erdoğan's victory, reports Anadolu Agency.

Macedonia, celebrations in Erdoğan victory case

A large number of citizens in Macedonia's capital, Skopje, celebrated Turkey's President Recep Tayip Erdoğan and Justice and Development Party ( The AK Party) in elections, according to unofficial results.

Citizens gathered in front of Murat Pasha Mosque in Skopje's Old Cavalry with Turkey's flags, and President Erdoğan's photo celebrated after announcing unofficial results of presidential and parliamentary elections in Turkey.

Cheri Esnafs distributed baklava for hundreds, while Turkish, Albanian and Bosnian citizens participated in the celebrations, who celebrated with support cheers “Rri right, do not bow, Skopje is with you”.

After the festivities, Skopje citizens also celebrated on the street, creating motor convoys on the streets of the city.

Besides Skopje, street celebrations with musical instruments were also organised in the city of Gostivar.

Holiday atmosphere in Prizren for President Erdoğan's victory

Hundreds of Prizren citizens today in the centre of the city celebrated Turkish President Recep Tayip Erdoğan's victory in today's elections in Turkey.

Numerous Prizren citizens who gathered in front of the General Consulate of the Republic of Turkey in Prizren, with songs and supportive cheers for President Erdoğan celebrated his victory in the election.

“Rure right, don't bow down, Kosovo is with you”, “Kosovo boasts you”, there were some of the citizens' cheers.

Citizens, who expressed joy in winning the Turkish president, wore Turkish flags, photographs of President Erdoğan, posters of his AK party, as well as flags of Kosovo and Albania.

Besides people on the streets, many others celebrated in their vehicles, thus forming long lines. President Erdoğan's photo had also been posted on numerous vehicles. The large crowd of people and an automobile column that celebrated also blocked the main road in the city center.

The minister of the Public Administration and the president of the Turkish Democratic Party, Mahir Ya Tsacılar, also attended, who congratulated President Erdoğan's victory.

He also added that with these elections both the Republic of Turkey and the Turkish people have become an example of democracy.

Albania, President Erdoğan's victory celebrated

Citizens in Albania's capital, Tirana, have celebrated the success achieved by Turkish President Recep Tayip Erdoğan, who won elections held today in Turkey, reports the Anadolu Agency (AA).

Citizens have gathered on several streets in the capital, celebrating with flags of Turkey and Albania, following the election results.

Tens of citizens have cheered with slogans in support of Turkey and President Erdoğan for success in the election.

In some locals citizens have celebrated as they follow the election results in Turkey.

Festivals have also organised Albanian students who have studied in Turkey, expressing their support for Turkey and Turkish President Recep Tayip Erdoğan.
