A Russian television has been accused of manipulating a photograph of Kim Jong, whose face has made it appear to be smiling with special effects such as Photoshop, writes the eurorene.
The leader of North Korea met last week with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, in Pyongyang to discuss the country's “perspective, current situation and co-operation”, the Russian Foreign Affairs Ministry communiqué reportedly broadcast.
A picture of Kim Jong and Lavrov holding their hands in front of a mural was published next to this communique, where Kim was always in cold blood. However, a chronice that was broadcast live on Saturday, Russian television Rosiya-1, shows Kim Jong laughing as he poses with Lavrov.
But this distinction between the first photograph and what was published by Rosiya-1 television did not go unnoticed. Politicians Ilija Yashin, whose party is in opposition, has criticised television for manipulation with the picture.
“are testing the skills of the North Korean leader, but tomorrow they're going to try to make us happy with his smile”, he wrote in two published versions of the photograph.
A satirical account in Titter, Face - The MIDRF also criticised Russian television for editing the photo, which said “week's” warning, Kim Jong's smile has been edited by photoship.
However, programme author Dmitry Kiseliov has denied the accusations, saying that the North Korean leader's smile has not been recorded.
