Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has declared that Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad is no longer immune and has threatened to launch direct attacks against him unless Iranian troops withdraw from Syria.
Netanyah's threats come at the end of his four-day diplomatic journey, during which he lobbied European leaders to take a tougher stance on Iran and follow Donald Trumpge in withdrawing from the nuclear agreement.
“Bashar Al-Assad is no longer immune. If he attacks us, we will destroy his forces”, he said.
He added that Israel would not tolerate Iranian forces in Syria to be used against Israel, and the consequences would be not only for Iranian forces, but also for Assad's own regime.
