Alliance for the Future of Kosovo Chairman Ramush Haradinaj has estimated that this year is a year of visa liberalisation and the creation of the Kosovo Army.

He made these comments at the AAK election convention in Pec, where in front of his party delegates, he said that Kosovo is at its best.

The executive head said Kosovo is on its way to the European Union, but currently has only one goal.

“As an immediate action of ours with the EU, we have visa liberalisation. In the report made for Kosovo of the EU earlier, a progress has been recognised to Kosovo and accepted as a party, we are one of the countries travelling towards the EU, but at another stage compared to Serbia and Montenegro, which are the leaders of countries in the region towards the EU. Albania and Macedonia, they hope, I hope, will open negotiations for membership and our case is very specific because of not knowing five, but that we now have only visa liberalisation”, Haradinaj said.

The executive leader has named it 2018 a year of army making, saying the KSF will change its mandate, continuing its path towards NATO membership.

“We are in the process of granting constitutional and legal mandate to our army, but not only to mandate, but to NATO membership as well. This process requires coordination, but normally pushing on our side, so this process is in its year, just as liberalisation is in its year and the military is in its realisation year. This year is not only the mandate of our army, but it is also the increase of our perspective towards NATO”, Haradinaj said.

Since he was in Pec, he did not fail to mention demarcation with Montenegro, saying it would be revised to see if there were mistakes. Until, he has failed to talk about normalising relations with Serbia, saying there will be a peace agreement, but not forgetting the past.

“We are in dialogue with our neighbours Serbia, don't forget Kosovo's achievements are irreversible, they don't come back, so there is Kosovo, there is the people of Kosovo, the recognition we have received, our right to live in our country. They are not, they are not discussed, they do not return. But in the relationship between the parties in the world there is full agreement on how to give epilogue to a process from the first proclamation of war, ultimatum, etc. to a peace agreement, bilateral agreement for establishing and diplomatic relations... Not because I'm in Pec, but I've shared two tasks with the Government of Montenegro, I'm interested in the letter sent there, of course the letters are seen, I've got the opportunity to inform that letter to Montenegro that we have voted a law containing the agreement, the two presidents' agreement, and a report on correction. We have asked Montenegro through this letter to develop correction and border demarcation action. So don't forget it's not quite common, but it stems from the vote in the Assembly”, he said.

While the acting AAK chairman in Pec, Fatmir Gashi, said that with this election decision, they will do what they did not do last time, the AAK's return as the first party in Pec.

In presenting the work report between the two countries, Gashi stressed that reforming them is necessary after poor results, especially in local elections.

We believe this site will serve us to restructure and develop deep reforms in the Peja branch. The reforming we are making is necessary after the poor results we had in choice, especially in local ones on the one hand, but also the need for AAK in Pec to make a new start by harboring jealousy the virtues we all have together and which are the unspoiled work for the good of the country, honesty and keeping the word that very few parties and other leaders have, Gashi stressed.

Today the AAK Assembly of 210 delegates will select new party leadership bodies in Pec
